Our vision is to live and work in a peaceful and tranquil rural environment, to create a home within nature. A nearby city is great to experience culture, restaurants, have meetings, and so on but not to live in or work.

Tri will be one of the first truly rural co-working and co-living spaces to provide this lifestyle in a modern and elegant way.
With the city of Porto being a 45 minute drive and other smaller cities very close-by, nobody will have to miss out on city feels, all whilst enjoying the beauty of living amongst nature close to beautiful beaches and waterfalls.

In a nutshell

We will buy the inactive farm "Quinta de Trindade"in Northern Portugal and transform it into a modern place to live, work and recover. Our main interest is to create a space that allows guests to work in a non-exhausting and more creative and inspiring place. The farming area will be transformed into an active permaculture farm and garden, which will also become economically profitable. Tri will be supported by a small community permanently living on the property so that the place maintains a feeling of home and belonging.

Different housing options will be developed. We plan the upscale renovation of the main estate including its 7 different sized bedrooms. Four modern tiny houses and 6 luxurious yurts as well as barn cubicles will be constructed to provide space for a variety of tastes and budgets.

On top, several buildings with different communal living areas (think large kitchen & recreational rooms, wellness spaces, movement & yoga rooms,...).

On a one hectare private part of the property, permanent and non-permanent structures will be built by permanent residents. We want our permanent residents to enjoy the feeling of privacy, whilst still being able to interact with the transit community and the permaculture farm if and when desired.

We will create an ideal setup for remote workers, one that is holistic, healthy and productive. From fast internet and high quality modern spaces, to having super beautiful nature and cafes nearby, all the way to nutrient-dense and organic produce directly from the farm.
One day a guest might want to work in a dark-chapel-turned-coworking-space, the next day in the sun on a farm terrace. Our goal is to build different coworking areas, so that there are different types of stimulations available for everyone's needs at any time.

We will also build facilities such as a video & audio recording studio. Trimundo will always be up to date with modern features to increase its value constantly so it will continue to be a magnet for modern freelancers and startups.

The permaculture farm is secondary as a business model to the tourism enterprise.
Nevertheless the popularity of organic and permaculture produce increases every year and the goal is to make the farm profitable within two to three years. At the very beginning, the farm will be run by one full time employee farmer (ideally also a resident on private property) and up to eight wwoofers (WWOOF: Wordwide Work on organic farms). Work for food and accommodation is a proven method to make organic farms profitable.

Opportunities for economic profit from farm:
- Running permaculture courses and hosting retreats.
- Selling organic, nutrient dense produce to high class restaurants in Porto.
- Selling organic wine, beer and kombucha made on the farm.
- Running a farm cafe and shop.

The most suitable property is a 16 hectare inactive farm near Caminha, 1 km inland from a surf beach. It is the perfect size for the envisioned tourism enterprise, modern co-working and co-living facilities combined with a permaculture farm and beautiful recreational facilities.

Alongside the existing farm estate buildings (including a chapel) that need renovations, we also plan to construct new buildings to allow for a variety of living & working spaces. The main property, which has 3 own water sourrces, already has a lot of official building land, which means permits will be easy to receive.

The entire property will be roughly divided into three parts:
– Two hectares for transit coliving and coworking.
– Thirteen hectares for permaculture farming.
– One hectare for permanent residents (max 10 units).

Tri is a rather new idea when it comes to its overall concept and size, but there are already other successful rural co-working hubs created all over Europe, so get your shares early to get the biggest economic benefits.
Also the vast majority of the funds will be used for land purchase and buildings, which makes your investment almost risk-free.

Convertible Loans
40% of every investment is immediately converted into shares. The other 60% will be paid back to the investor with a yearly 3% interest rate over 10 years. If part of the investment can not be paid back, then the same amount is converted into shares.

Share Price
The initial share value at the development round is 1000 Euro (10 shares minimum, 1.000 shares maximum per shareholder). Thereafter we foresee a healthy growth rate of >10% or more through the increase in value of the business and the property.

Dividend
The TRI company is estimated to make a profit resulting in a ROI of 12%. The dividend to be paid out to the shareholders is 50% of the net profit, the other 50% will be invested back into the business, and thus ongoingly increase the business and share value.

About the founders

Founders

Founders

We are Felix and Gertrud and are currently dividing our time between Berlin, Portugal and Bali.

Felix is a gardener, storyteller, entrepreneur and filmmaker. Gertrud is a scientist, teacher, writer and entrepreneur. They have a 2-year old son Harper who thrives outdoors. We are feeling less and less nomadic, so we feel ready to start our own permanent residence, where we can invite other ethical, healthy and positive people to come and join forces.

We found a beautiful old farm in Northern Portugal, which we want to restore into a modern co-working/co-living and permaculture centre. The location allows us to live from and with the land without disconnecting from everyone and everything, which is exactly our goal.
